KYN28A-24 armored, withdrawable AC metal-clad switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear) is suitable for indoor three-phase power systems with a frequency of 50/60 Hz and a rated voltage of 24 kV. 　　Overview

　　The KYN28A-24 switchgear incorporates a range of features to prevent misoperation, including interlocks that prohibit moving the handcart under load, prevent closing the earthing switch when the circuit breaker is closed, block closing the earthing switch while energized, and guard against inadvertently entering an energized compartment. The KYN28A-24 switchgear is equipped with high‑performance VN2 or VS1 series center‑mounted high‑voltage AC vacuum circuit breakers and solid‑sealed pole vacuum switches. Its secondary circuits are fitted with advanced, reliable control and protection devices; the busbars employ heat‑shrink insulation or epoxy coating, with optimized electrode geometries, resulting in a compact cabinet design. 　　Operating environmental conditions

　　a. Ambient temperature: maximum temperature: +40°C; minimum temperature: -15°C; and the 24-hour average shall not exceed 35°C.

　　b. The temperature conditions are as follows:

　　--The daily average relative humidity shall not exceed 95%; the monthly average relative humidity shall not exceed 90%.

　　--The average daily water vapor pressure does not exceed 2.2 kPa; the monthly average water vapor pressure does not exceed 1.8 kPa;

　　Under such conditions, condensation may occasionally occur.

　　c. Altitude not exceeding 1000 m;

　　d. The surrounding air is not noticeably contaminated by dust, smoke, corrosive or flammable substances, vapors, or fumes;

　　e. Vibrations or ground motions originating from outside the switchgear and control equipment may be disregarded;

　　f. The amplitude of electromagnetic interference induced in the secondary system shall not exceed 1.6 kV.
