  Overview

  The XGN‑12(SF6) type AC high‑voltage sulfur hexafluoride ring‑main switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the ring‑main cabinet) is a new generation of high‑voltage electrical equipment independently designed and developed by our factory, incorporating advanced foreign technologies and tailored to meet the requirements of rural power‑grid modernization and urban grid renovation in China. Following rigorous type tests and extended trial‑operation evaluations, all technical performance parameters have fully complied with IEC 298 and GB 3906 standards. The ring‑main cabinet is equipped with either an FLN‑12(SF6) load switch or an FLN‑12(SF6) load switch–fuse combination unit. Because SF6 gas serves as both the arc‑extinguishing and insulating medium, compared with vacuum load switches that use vacuum for arc extinction, SF6 switches provide “soft” breaking, eliminating the need to install surge arresters or other components in the primary wiring scheme to protect against overvoltages. The cabinet body is fabricated from imported aluminum‑zinc coated steel sheets, precision‑machined on CNC equipment and assembled by riveting, achieving an ingress protection rating of IP4X and featuring reliable mechanical interlocks and anti‑misoperation safeguards. This product boasts highly distinctive advantages, including compact size, light weight, aesthetically pleasing appearance, simple operation, long service life, high performance parameters, zero environmental pollution, and minimal maintenance requirements.
